Advertising and Cookie Notice
Version 2026-09-28.1 · Updated 28 September 2026
This notice replaces the advertising-measurement information in the 8 September 2026 Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice. Other account-policy provisions and previously accepted document versions remain unchanged. Advertising consent is separate from creating an account or requesting help.
Your choice
Optional Google Ads and Meta Pixel measurement is off until you select Allow measurement in Privacy choices on a public page at justice-point.org. Rejecting has no effect on enquiries, registration or account access. Previous Google-only consent does not activate Meta: a new choice is required. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep optional measurement off.
What is measured
- Google Ads receives a conversion when our CRM confirms a new enquiry, plus public page details and ad-click identifiers.
- Meta Pixel (ID 1408509174725364) receives PageView on consented public page loads and Lead after our account service returns a newly created registration. Registration measurement occurs on the public signup flow, before the thank-you page. Email confirmation is still required for account access.
- A failed registration, an enquiry alone, a sign-in, or a thank-you page visit does not trigger a Meta Lead. A local receipt helps prevent repeat events for the same account.
- The providers receive measurement-cookie and ad-click identifiers, public page URLs, event names and timing, and ordinary connection and device information, including IP address and browser information. Meta may associate these signals with information it already holds.
We do not supply names, email addresses, telephone numbers, account or case identifiers, loss amounts, case descriptions, documents or messages in advertising events. Automatic contact matching and automatic event detection are disabled in this integration. We do not use these events to build retargeting audiences. Private client, administrator, authentication, demo and thank-you pages, development environments and the private Sites preview do not load these tags.
Storage and retention
- jp-ad-measurement-v2: our first-party browser-storage record of your choice and its timestamp, valid for up to 180 days.
- Google _gcl_* cookies: ad-attribution cookies, configured with a 90-day lifetime.
- Meta _fbp and _fbc cookies: browser and ad-click attribution identifiers, normally lasting up to 90 days; browser restrictions may shorten their lifetime.
- jp-meta-registrations-v1: local duplicate-prevention receipts, valid for 180 days and removed from the receipt list on a later registration check after expiry. They contain one-way hashes of account identifiers and timestamps; these hashes are not sent to Meta. You can remove stored receipts by clearing this website's browser data.
Provider-side data retention is separate from cookie lifetime and is governed by the providers' terms and privacy policies. This integration does not set their server retention periods.
Changing your mind
Open Privacy choices on any public page and select Reject optional. Withdrawal stops future measurement, removes accessible first-party Google and Meta measurement cookies and reloads the page. It does not recall information already received. Ad blockers and browser restrictions may also prevent measurement.
Providers and international processing
The recipients are Google and Meta, including their relevant regional entities and service providers. They may process data internationally, including in the United States. See Google's Privacy Policy, Google's retention information, Meta's Privacy Policy, Meta's Cookies Policy and Meta's Business Tools Terms for their processing and applicable transfer terms. Our basis for activating these optional tags is your consent.
